Our highly qualified nurses deal with a range of conditions and health concerns. They are experts in many areas of disease management such as diabetes and asthma. They can check blood pressure, test urine and undertake simple dressing and removal of sutures.

Healthcare Assistants

The Healthcare Assistant team at Kincora provides support to qualified nurses/doctors by carrying out specific procedures and giving advice. They are specially trained and usually have or are working towards a qualification. 

They do the following: Take Blood, Give advice on a healthy lifestyle, Test Urine, Measure Blood Pressure, Height and Weight, Carry out Health Checks, wound dressing, vaccinations such as b12, pneumococcal and flu vaccination. They may act as chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
